What is the difference between a psychic and a medium?

A psychic usually taps into the energy surrounding the person they are reading for. Readings usually consist of what is going on around that person, sometimes with glimpses of past influences and occasionally the future. They normall use psychic tools such as Tarot cards to help with what they are getting.

A medium makes an 'energetic' link with those that have passed to spirit. They use one or more senses to communicate with the spirit entity to pass on messages to their loved ones, in the hope of giving proof of an existance after the death of the earthly body.

What is the minimum age limit for a reading or spirit contact?

At Spooktacula Events we have an over 18 policy. Occassionally we may have requests to help younger children who are having problems. Bren has counselling qualifications, so although she will not give a child a reading she is happy to talk to them in the presence of their parent or guardian and see if a solution can be found. If she cannot help she will try to suggest someone who can.

Do you offer refunds?

If we have to cancel an event for any reason we will refund you in full. We cannot accept last minute cancellations as often we have had to pay a third party. In the case of a full length reading we cannot give a refund unless the reading lasted less than five minutes. There can be no refund for table shuffle or 'demonstration' readings as often there are external influences that can have an effect upon what 'comes through' and not everyone is guaranteed a reading or message. We try to be as fair to our clients as possible.
